How it works

Upon arrival (or ideally prior to the event) each participant is issued with an ID card that can contain any data for identification purposes.

The key element is the participant's name, which is printed on the card along with a barcode representation of the name.

It is this barcode that can be easily and quickly scanned each time the participant enters or leaves the venue.

The arrival or departure time is then logged by the barcode reader into the control database.
